Fire Truck Pull - November 21, 2009 Is it possible for 20 people to pull a 61,000 pound fire truck 50 feet? Absolutely! Can they do it quickly? That depends on how well the team works together… The Ronald McDonald House Fire Truck Pull is scheduled for November 21 st on Government Street in downtown Pensacola in front of Seville Quarter. Teams will pull against others in their division (professional, education, industrial, etc.) for the fastest pull time. Awards will be given to the best teams and all participants will receive a Fire Truck Pull t-shirt and free lunch. Get your school group, work friends, athletic team, or civic organization together and join the fun. Entry fees are reduced for schools, military groups, and first responders. Opportunities are available to sponsor these groups as well. Contact the Ronald McDonald House for details.

In addition to the pull competition, the event will offer children’s activities, a stop/drop/roll competition, fire safety demonstrations, and even a race carrying a fire hose.
