WELCOME TO THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE OF NORTHWEST FLORIDA
Opened in 1984, over 15,000 adults and children have found refuge in our “Home”. Originally only 6 bedrooms, the House has been through 2 expansions to 9 bedrooms and a capital campaign is currently under way to build a 26-bedroom House so that no family has to be turned away.

The $5 million dollar campaign will allow us to build a 20,500sf Home on the corner of Bayou Blvd. across from the new RAVE movie theatre. The new House will offer expanded services to 26 families and will give us the capability to serve 551 more families a year.

Common area spaces will allow more privacy for these families and a courtyard in the middle of the building will allow families to enjoy the relaxing Florida weather while watching their children play on the playground or sit near the serenity gardens if they aren’t up for a romp! We need all the help we can get to help make this dream a reality.

Contrary to the common belief that we are owned or funded by the McDonald’s Corporation or the local Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House is independently owned and operated by a volunteer board of directors. We rely heavily on donations from the public in order to serve families.
