KIM HENDERSON...
Another staff member that started as a volunteer, Kim began volunteering in 2003 and also served a year on the Board of Directors. She was responsible for starting the first volunteer group in Okaloosa County to support the fundraising efforts of the House. So it was only natural that she ended up as a staff member supporting the House in Okaloosa and Walton counties. It is her job to grow that volunteer group to raise money and awareness for the House in those areas. Kim lives in Niceville with her husband Sloan, (also known as a mandatory volunteer), and their rescue dogs. In her free time she volunteers for the Wildlife Rehabilitators Partnership, Jr. League of the Emerald Coast and the South Walton Turtle Watch, and spends as much time as she can with her husband on the beach or in the water.
